Ok ... the directory is done, all the links work, info all set up ... now I am writing the reviews. This takes more time than I thought it would. I cannot seem to half ass it, so I am getting and realying as much information as possible. For instance adding up all of SaleHoo's 9,000+ distributors. Guess it is as it is, because I want to be true to what I say about these reviews being real. I just cannot promote something that is not good ... or as good as the sales page reflects. But this is just BORING.
Info note ... so you have something to read/sell/subscribe that means something. Pay attention to your keywords and see if localities play a part. Adding a state/county/city name to your search term can add more traffic. Many people will add this to their search terms ... for example ... Florida mortgage, florida work, florida jobs, florida insurance, and etc. Each term may not get you a ton of traffic, but if you cover the states, main counties and cities, it will get you more traffic, and will be very targeted.

Talking with no Traffic
So I typed two brilliant blog entries about the website I am working on and though ... who is going to read it? Not going to do a bum marketing plaster ... ok ... maybe a few places :-), I thought I would do what I know ... pay per click. So if you got here, you cost me money. But no biggie ... I have won three games of poker! Really though, it is part of it. I want to make you money, and I know I need you help to do so by telling me what is missing, and what you need.
Why share? Would you not take business from me? Odds are no. Most of my money is made with mortgage refinancing. Costs for a click go up to $50. I spend no more than $.50 for a click. I have helped my parents, brother, cousins, and best friend market the exact same thing as me. I have let them see every ad, and cost that I have, and it has not effected me at all. Marketing, products, affiliates, websites, are in the millions. And because of that ... there is room for everyone. Little tid bit ... market what you know, tinker with what you do not.
Again, I am not asking you to join a mailing list, no subscription to join, no nothing. I am hoping that a different approach will have you help build this, keep you coming back here, and when it is done, to share what you know with others. Of couse ... I may not be a "Rich Jerk" but a hoping idiot :-)

Harder than I thought
Writing these reviews are going to be a little harder than I first thought. I figured that there would be a large difference between each book/course. There is not. I am not saying they are bad, just that they seem to say the same thing. Granted I am not a genius or I would have made $50 millions dollars and not be here, but at the same time I do know what I am doing and this is a little interesting. It seems that many people have very good information on making money on the internet, and the ones who "make money" from knowing how to "make money" are the ones who can come up with the most creative sales pages. My thought ... more power to them ... as long as the information is good. I need to look at these like I did everything when I first sat at the computer thinking ... there has got to be a way to make money here. At that time I had not even really searched the web, and I had no concept of the how/why/who/eh? there was to owning a website.
Thinking about that ... these may be somewhat advanced. Get a website ... get a link ... promote. Some of my family and friends that I got into this still do not know how to get a new affiliate link and put it into their site. And neither would have I. Do you know this code? (New after this post ... Well FLIP!! ... I was just trying to show a link code with the _blank in it and etc and it keep glitching! ... so much for that example)
Most of you may ... I did not when I started. Where to get it ... how to cut and paste it ... and make the dang thing work ... much less a website that looks nice, has text, and entices the visitor.
Am I wrong? Let me know if I was just very stupid, or these are things a true beginner does not know.
So ... I think I need to take into account that these places tell you where to get websites, where to get templates (Templates are the design of the website), where/how to get links, and etc. I will say one this about links ... when going to a site that is not mine I always use the "_blank" in the < a href tag. Why? ... it opens a new window. I know opening new windows can be annoying, but most of the time I let them know it will happen. Why again? So if they go to the site and they hate it they exit out ... and instead of going back to a new search my site is still there. I tell them it is a link ... I tell them it will open a window ... I tell them my site will still be there. Ok ... off tipic a bit ... but this really helps me retain visitors and keep them on my site/sites which is what I want.
Nuff said ... placed in both sit and go's in poker ... going to try and quit working, play some poker, enjoy a beer, and have a little fun with my girl friend (Minds out of the gutter now!!)
Until tomorrow ...

Way Behind the Times
Yup ... been a internet marketer since 2002 and this is my first blog. Cheers! Ok ... on the third beer already just sitting here waiting on a conference call with some California big wig about my foreclosure leads. 30 minutes to go ...
Anyway, I am starting this (Guide2wealth reviews), or trying to, because of all the review sites that I see where every product gets a "good" grade. Not every product is good, not every product is even average ... well ... some products/ebooks absolutley suck. But! They make a killing because of a fantastic sales page. I know it is being done somewhere else, but I want to start this site and give upfront opinions and allow people to past their opinions after mine. Agree, or disagree ... shoot away.
Back to starting this site. I am good at marketing ... mainly pay per click. I spend $1000-$1500 a day. It is all numbers which fits me to a tee. What I am not good at ... template design, sales pages, and writing. I have the english skills of a three year old (No offense to those with three years old who write better than me). So I have wasted time sifting through numerous template trying to find one that looks decent, and one that my meager skills can actually put into my site. So far ... nada. I have also sat down intent on writing a flowing, and informative, review for "xyz" product ... that has not yet happened either.
I have bought eight of these ebooks so far ... wondering if that is enough. Probably will get two more for an even ten while I am waiting for this call ... and play a little poker.
Sure I will have a rant later :-)
